Job Description
CPLC Prestamos is a distinguished Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity that has been empowering entrepreneurs in underserved communities since 1980. With a broad reach spanning Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas, CPLC Prestamos offers a range of loan products, expert business consulting services, and diverse investment opportunities tailored to the unique needs of small businesses. As an award-winning organization rooted deeply in community development, CPLC Prestamos prides itself on fostering economic growth and financial inclusion for historically marginalized populations and emerging entrepreneurs.
The role of Front Desk Coordinator at the Women's Business Center, operated by CPLC Prestamos, is far more than just answering phones; it serves as the nerve center for all operations and activities within the center. This crucial position offers a hybrid work arrangement combining both on-site and remote work, depending on class and event schedules, reflecting trust and independence afforded to the role. Successful candidates will be empowered to manage the front desk and administrative duties autonomously without constant oversight, playing a vital part in the smooth functioning of daily operations.
As the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and incoming communications, the Front Desk Coordinator acts as the welcoming face and key administrative support for the Women's Business Center. Responsibilities include managing a variety of communications channels—phone calls, emails, voicemails, and walk-ins—as well as maintaining up-to-date client records through CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity to support reporting and organizational needs. Beyond communication management, this role also supports program staff, helping to maintain an organized and professional office environment that reflects the mission and values of CPLC Prestamos.
Ideal candidates for this role are highly organized, dependable, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting. They possess outstanding communication skills in both English and Spanish and demonstrate professionalism in every interaction with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Attention to detail, time management, and prioritization are key attributes necessary for success in this fast-paced environment. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to learning new technology platforms are essential.
CPLC Prestamos values its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff that supports their health, wellness, professional growth, and work-life balance. Key benefits include generous paid holidays, an employee recognition program, paid time off and sick days, medical, dental, and vision coverage for spouses or domestic partners and children up to age 26, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance options, telemedicine and concierge services, a 401(k) retirement plan, as well as tuition reimbursement opportunities and discounts on various purchases.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about community development, small business advocacy, and administrative excellence to contribute meaningfully to an organization committed to equity and inclusive economic advancement. Join CPLC Prestamos as a Front Desk Coordinator and play a pivotal role in supporting entrepreneurs and fostering lasting business success within underserved communities.
