The front desk position at SafeSplash plays a vital role in supporting the operational flow of the swim school. Reporting to the General Manager or Manager on Duty, front desk staff are the primary point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from the moment someone walks through the door or calls on the phone. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a hospitable attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently to handle scheduling, payments, retail sales, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Front desk employees help keep appointments on time and contribute to the overall smooth running of the facility, enhancing the positive environment for students, families, and staff alike.
SafeSplash front desk staff are required to wear company uniforms, including a SafeSplash t-shirt, reinforcing the professional brand image. The work schedule is flexible, averaging 3 to 30 hours per week, which accommodates various lifestyles including those pursuing education or other responsibilities. Compensation ranges from $12.00 to $14.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- happy and professional disposition
- exceptional customer service skills
- strong communication skills including telephone, verbal and written communication, and listening
- experience with computer scheduling software
- experience using spreadsheets and word processing software such as Microsoft Windows
- outstanding multi-tasking abilities
- dependable and flexible schedule
- availability to work some evenings and weekends
- swim lesson and/or competitive swimming experience preferred
- CPR and first aid certification preferred
