Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
  • ability to handle cash responsibly
  • knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in guest service or hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and perform guest registration
  • make and modify reservations
  • handle hotel operator and concierge duties
  • provide attentive, courteous and efficient guest service throughout stay
  • settle guest accounts upon completion of stay
  • handle and resolve guest complaints professionally
  • manage cash control and balancing of reports
  • process credit card transactions and operate phone system
  • ensure room status is updated and coordinate timely room repairs
  • use persuasive selling techniques to maximize room revenue
  • maintain key control and process lost and found items
  • assist in training new staff
  • participate in positive work environment
  • adhere to hotel safety and security policies
