As a Guest Service Representative, you will be expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and support the hotel's safety and security measures including compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. You will play an integral role in maximizing room revenue and occupancy through persuasive selling techniques and effective promotion of our marketing programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure timely room readiness and maintenance. Proficiency in handling guest complaints professionally and problem-solving are key to succeeding in this role.
This role also includes operational responsibilities such as balancing reports, performing cash control, processing reservations and credit card transactions, and managing key control duties. Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment is necessary, along with a willingness to assist in training new staff members. The work environment is supportive and positive, encouraging team participation and continuous improvement in service delivery.
