We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This role is crucial as it combines customer service duties with essential financial and operational responsibilities. The Night Auditor will be the face of the hotel during the night shift, managing the front desk activities, including guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, and ensuring that all overnight processes are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a strong attention to detail to reconcile accounts and generate reports that aid in the daily financial management of the hotel.

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for managing reservations, assisting guests with requests such as booking tours and restaurant reservations, and overseeing the inventory of supplies and equipment. You will also maintain a clean and orderly front desk area, contribute to a positive guest experience, and serve as a resource during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is adaptable, capable of working independently during quieter hours, and comfortable dealing with a diverse clientele. Experience with reservation management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office software will support your success in this role. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential for this position, as is a commitment to upholding our hotel's standards of service and operational excellence. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage the front desk during the overnight shift including handling guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Answer phone calls and respond to online inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Handle guest requests such as booking tours or making restaurant reservations
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes including handling payments and issuing keys
  • Complete daily financial and operational tasks such as reconciling the guest ledger and completing shift reports
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Perform light cleaning duties such as wiping down counters and restocking supplies
  • Other duties as assigned
