They emphasize professionalism, compassion, and efficiency in their service offerings to ensure patient satisfaction and high standards of medical care. The organization fosters a supportive work environment that values collaboration and continuous professional development, creating an ideal setting for healthcare professionals to thrive and make a meaningful impact. Suncoast Medical Group strives to maintain cutting-edge administrative systems that streamline operations and enhance the patient experience. This includes an emphasis on utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and efficient front desk procedures to optimize appointment scheduling, patient intake, and billing processes.
The Front Desk Administration role at Suncoast Medical Group is integral to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. This full-time position requires a dynamic individual to serve as the first point of contact for patients—welcoming and assisting them upon arrival, facilitating their timely entry into the practice, and supporting administrative functions throughout patient visits. The role demands a high level of professionalism, multitasking ability, and strong communication skills to manage phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and process payments accurately. Moreover, the position involves traveling regionally as needed to support office operations in multiple locations, reflecting the organization's flexible and responsive approach to healthcare delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in a clinical administrative or customer service role, along with excellent computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is highly preferred to ensure accurate data entry and adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA. This role also requires attention to detail, ethical integrity, adaptability to change, and the ability to work well under pressure. Suncoast Medical Group values teamwork and encourages employees to bring a positive attitude, a proactive mindset, and strong work ethic to their daily responsibilities.
As a key member of the administrative team, the Front Desk Administrator at Suncoast Medical Group will manage essential functions like greeting patients, answering phones promptly, verifying insurance and referrals, maintaining accurate records, handling payments, and coordinating follow-up appointments. The position also involves generating reconciliation reports, managing no-show and cancellation follow-ups, and maintaining a neat and welcoming reception area. Candidates will engage in ongoing training and adhere to the organization's policies and federal healthcare regulations to ensure compliance and outstanding patient service.
This position is a vital part of Suncoast Medical Group's commitment to providing exceptional patient care through efficient and organized office administration. By joining their team, you will contribute to creating a seamless, patient-friendly environment that upholds the highest standards of healthcare service and operational excellence. The Front Desk Administration role offers a unique opportunity for growth, professional development, and involvement in the evolving healthcare landscape within a reputable and trusted medical group.
