Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Sacramento, General Produce prides itself on delivering freshness as more than just a promise—it's a daily standard. The company has built a reputation for quality and reliability in the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables, providing essential products to restaurants, schools, and families, thereby supporting the health and nourishment of the communities it serves. With a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, General Produce combines advanced logistics with a passionate workforce dedicated to keeping fresh produce flowing smoothly from farm to table.

As a Commercial Delivery Driver at General Produce, you will play a vital role as the friendly and professional face behind every delivery. This full-time position offers a work schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, starting early at 5 AM, and includes opportunities for overtime. The role strikes a balance between physical activity and time spent driving, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy an active work environment without the need for overnight travel. Working as a Commercial Delivery Driver means more than just transporting goods—you become an essential part of a larger mission to nourish communities by ensuring fresh and high-quality produce reaches its destination safely and on time. Drivers at General Produce are valued for their contribution to customer satisfaction through timely, accurate, and courteous delivery service. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid sick leave, holidays, vacation, and a 401(k) plan, reflecting its commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Additionally, General Produce offers annual incentives, an employee assistance program, employee discount programs, and regular employee recognition events to foster a positive and rewarding workplace culture. This position is suitable for individuals who hold a valid California Class A Commercial Driver License with air brake endorsement, have at least one year of commercial driving experience, and are comfortable with navigation technology and customer communication. Joining General Produce as a Commercial Delivery Driver presents an opportunity to work for a well-established company that values safety, quality, and community impact while offering stable employment and a supportive work environment.
