Job Requirements
- freelance or contract availability
- ability to commit ideally for 12 months
- legally permitted to work in the hiring location
- must have own car and valid driver’s license
- ability to work remotely with flexibility for onsite event days and site visits
- availability for event days especially May 28 through June 6
- experience in event planning or related fields
- proficiency in graphic design tools
- strong organizational skills
- must be located in or willing to travel to Austin and Central Texas
- ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in experiential event planning and creative production
- strong graphic design and visual communication skills
- proficiency with design software including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and SketchUp or similar
- experience coordinating with fabrication teams, vendors, and scenic builds
- ability to create signage and environmental graphics
- skills in building layouts, visual references, and spatial renderings
- excellent communication and onsite leadership abilities
- adaptable and collaborative mindset
Job Duties
- event planning and production support
- lead creative direction and event aesthetics
- graphic design, signage, print production, and AV graphic coordination
- mood boards, decks, and visual presentations
- basic renderings and spatial mockups
- guest experience and environmental design
- vendor, décor, rental, and fabrication coordination
- supporting installs, load-ins, and onsite logistics
- executing events onsite as lead producer when needed
- managing timelines, vendors, and troubleshooting during live events
