We are currently looking to hire a Freelance Event Manager in San Francisco to play a vital role in organizing and managing our dynamic events such as dinners, roundtables, and conferences. This freelance position requires a dedicated individual with experience in event coordination who can be the on-site point of contact at our upscale gatherings. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with venue staff to ensure seamless event setup and breakdown, guarantee that all branding, signage, name badges, and materials are correctly displayed, and support our senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients with professionalism and grace.
This role demands a high level of organizational skill and the ability to troubleshoot any issues efficiently during events, often taking place in the evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Job Duties
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for events (dinners, roundtables, conferences)
- Manage event setup and breakdown in coordination with venue staff
- Pick up printing and event materials on the day of the event
- Ensure branding, signage, name badges, and materials are properly displayed
- Greet, register, and support senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients
- Keep the internal Blend team updated during the event
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally
- Provide event recap notes and photos to the internal team
