The role available is for a Freelance Event Manager based in San Francisco. This position involves managing various events including dinners, roundtables, and conferences that Blend hosts to connect its members. The event manager will serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring that each event runs smoothly from setup to breakdown. Responsibilities include coordinating with venue staff, managing logistics such as printing and event materials, ensuring proper branding and signage display, and supporting senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients during the events. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.

In addition to event coordination, the Freelance Event Manager is expected to keep the internal Blend team updated during events, troubleshoot any issues that arise promptly and professionally, and provide detailed event recap notes and photos afterwards. This role requires individuals who are results-oriented, motivated, and capable of articulating complex information in a clear and simple manner.   • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with evening events including Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights

Job Duties

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for events including dinners, roundtables, and conferences

  • Pick up printing and event materials on the day of the event

  • Greet, register, and support senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients
