We are currently seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team and lead the kitchen operations at Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive. The Kitchen Manager acts as the mastermind behind daily kitchen activities, ensuring that the production of quality meals meets high standards while maintaining smooth and efficient workflows. This pivotal role involves not only overseeing cooking and food preparation but also managing budgets, enforcing safety and cleanliness, and uplifting the culinary team's performance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership abilities, financial acumen, and a passion for innovative menu planning and event catering.
As Kitchen Manager, you will coordinate with various departments to develop exciting menus that resonate with guests’ tastes and expectations. You will manage the kitchen budget carefully, balancing costs and ensuring profitability for kitchen operations. Leading and training the team is central to this position, as you will recruit new talent, motivate the crew, and create a productive and positive work environment. Job Requirements
- associate or culinary degree preferred
- minimum 3 years kitchen management experience in a high-volume setting
- experience with catering and event food preparation desirable
- current or ability to obtain ServSafe certification required
- strong leadership skills
- excellent organizational and communication skills
