Job Duties

  • Smile (we have open kitchens)
  • arrive on time dressed and ready for your shift
  • check refrigeration temperature are Board of Health compliant
  • stock your station with the appropriate food items and tools
  • at the end of your shift make sure your station is stocked and ready for the next shift
  • wipe down and cleans refrigeration, counters, tables and underneath equipment
  • follow recipes and plating procedures
  • prepare desserts with presentation and quality of food items as top priority
  • prepare food in an efficient and timely manner
  • maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  • mop and clean the ice cream area at the end of the night
  • store ice cream products in a safe manner as dictated by the board of health
  • wipe down and clean freezers
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • do daily and weekly side work
  • ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and appealing
  • work as a team to provide the best level of customer satisfaction possible
  • communicate with staff and management regarding all food that is 86’d or on a countdown
