The role available at Live Nation Entertainment is for a skilled Bartender who will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, alongside food, within a vibrant restaurant and music hall environment. This role demands impeccable service delivery tailored to upscale dining experiences, advanced knowledge of mixology, and the ability to uphold the venue’s beverage culture. Job Requirements
- Applicable state or county licensee or certification requirement
- Responsible alcohol awareness training certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in upscale dining and nightlife establishment
- Ability to upsell and offer food and drink suggestions
- Articulate vocabulary with adaptability
- Exemplary and professional grooming standards
- Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours and nights

- Strong working knowledge of all beverages
- Physically able to pass pour test and mixology drill

Job Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guests in a restaurant and music hall atmosphere with a cheerful attitude and in an efficient, professional manner
- Welcome and acknowledge Foundation Room members, Live Nation Executives and VIP’s to instill appreciation for their membership and patronage
- Stay current and knowledgeable on the latest drink trends
- Understand the fundamentals of mixology and uphold beverage culture
- Suggest wines and beverage pairings that complement the food menu
- Ensure responsible alcohol service according to local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and House of Blues policies
- Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
- Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
- Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
- Complete a pour test prior to every shift where applicable
- Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items at the bar
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly
- Prioritize and organize drink orders
- Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
- Record equipment failure or safety hazards in bar log
- Recognize and manage intoxicated guests with safety and courtesy, alerting management
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties as per venue policy
- Prepare guest checks and process payments
- Maintain bartender bank and perform cash pull/check out procedures
- Attend pre-shift meetings conducted by Manager on Duty prior to each shift
