Job Description

The Valleywise Health Foundation is seeking a dedicated Foundation Event Project Manager to oversee the planning, organization, and execution of fundraising and stewardship events. This position, reporting to the Valleywise Health Foundation Director of Foundation Marketing & Strategy, will be responsible for managing event logistics, coordinating volunteers, handling sponsorships, and leading email communication and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, writing, and have a passion for making a difference in the nonprofit healthcare sector.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years in event planning and project coordination, preferably with non-profit or fundraising background, and experience with Blackbaud RE, RE NXT, or OneCause products
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in writing, email marketing, and Microsoft Office, strong organizational and event management skills, excellent communication abilities, flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
