The role of Formwork Checker at EFCO is essential for maintaining the precision and quality of erection and mechanical drawings, which are critical to the company's product and service delivery. This position requires a detail-oriented drafting professional who excels in accuracy, problem-solving, and mentorship. The Formwork Checker will collaborate closely with engineers, drafters, warehouse teams, and management to ensure that drawings for custom and standard projects meet the highest standards of precision and innovation. The Formwork Checker is responsible for reviewing and assembling erection drawings, verifying manufacturing and warehouse mechanical drawings for accuracy, troubleshooting design and construction challenges, and overseeing the drafting process workflow. Approximately 30 percent of the role involves mentoring and training drafting staff, ensuring continual skill advancement and recommending updates to materials as needed. This position requires a solid mechanical aptitude, deep knowledge of blueprint reading, and proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools, along with a good understanding of general construction practices.
