Novolex is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their team in Romeoville. This position operates on a 6PM to 6AM schedule following a 223 shift pattern, offering a competitive compensation package starting at $21.32 per hour plus a $1.50 hourly shift differential. Additionally, a $750 sign-on bonus is available, along with eligibility for a skill-based pay program that rewards employees as they enhance their capabilities. The role is ideal for candidates who have experience working as dock workers, forklift drivers, or clamp truck operators within fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environments. Forklift operators at Novolex are responsible for safely handling material movement using forklifts and clamp lifts, cycling counting, physical inventory support, as well as essential recycle and housekeeping duties. Candidates must have at least one year of recent forklift experience, preferably with certification or willingness to complete the certification program within 90 days of employment. Basic math skills, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and a self-directed work ethic are essential traits for success in this role.
