As an ISO 9001 certified company, PSC maintains rigorous quality standards, ensuring that every product delivered meets exceptional performance and durability criteria. Located in Modesto and Visalia, California, PSC has established itself as a market leader in the design and production of corrugated packaging, folding carton, single-face lamination, foam protective packaging, and point-of-purchase displays. The company serves an extensive clientele who value the unique combination of creativity, flexibility, rapid speed to market, and cost efficiency that PSC offers.
PSC prides itself on its people—its employees are the cornerstone and driving force behind the company’s success. As a family-owned business, PSC cultivates a warm and supportive corporate culture grounded in four core values: 360 degrees Health, Teamwork, Quality, and Sustainability. These principles guide the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning, ensuring that PSC not only meets but exceeds customer expectations while promoting a healthy, collaborative, and ethical workplace.
The company values its workforce by investing in their growth and well-being, offering competitive compensation packages alongside comprehensive benefits that include a 401(k) retirement savings program and full medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. PSC’s commitment to its employees reflects its status as a respected employer within the packaging industry.
About the Forklift Driver (Sit Down & Clamp Truck) Role: This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of PSC’s warehouse and shipping processes. The Forklift Driver, also known as the Material Handler/Shipping Clerk/Receiving Clerk/Clamp Driver, is responsible for multiple facets of warehouse logistics. These include loading outgoing freight onto PSC’s trucks and external carriers, preparing accurate and timely shipping documentation, and maintaining warehouse organization in accordance with official Procedure Manual guidelines.
In addition, the Forklift Driver supports the internal production process by supplying necessary materials to various machine operations within the facility. This proactive support involves working ahead to maintain adequate stock levels and ensuring that pallets and other factory supplies are readily available. The role requires a diligent individual with a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.50 to $22.65 and primarily covers the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), although occasional openings on the 1st shift (7am-3pm) may occur. This shift flexibility makes the role suitable for individuals seeking varied work hours or those who prefer to work outside of typical daytime schedules.
Working as a forklift driver at PSC means joining a company that balances high-quality manufacturing with employee well-being. The position demands a balance of technical skill, accuracy in handling shipping data, and the ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment. Employees in this role benefit from ongoing training opportunities, a clear pathway to career growth, and a supportive management team dedicated to their success. Whether you are new to warehouse operations or looking to advance your skills, this position at PSC offers a rewarding and stable career path in the growing packaging industry.
