Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 18 years
  • ability to obtain Oregon Food Handler certification if not already certified
  • previous experience in food service, especially in quick-service or cafe environments
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • a positive and cooperative attitude
  • availability to work mornings, afternoons, and weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in food service, with an emphasis on cafe/quick-service environments
  • Oregon Food Handler certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
  • strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • friendly, team-first attitude with a passion for hospitality and quality
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • welcome each guest with genuine warmth and a professional demeanor
  • provide clear and engaging information about food and drink offerings
  • guide guests through ordering, answer questions, and make thoughtful recommendations
  • assist with daily food prep (chopping, assembling, portioning) per kitchen guidelines
  • package and present food items with care, consistency, and cleanliness
  • prepare all food items in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • maintain a clean, organized service counter and food prep area
  • monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
  • uphold sanitation and safety standards at all times
  • collaborate with main kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth service
  • help maintain a positive, solution-oriented work environment
  • be proactive in identifying and addressing guest needs
