Job Description

Sand Springs Public Schools is an established educational institution dedicated to providing quality education and fostering community engagement through various extracurricular activities, including athletics. Known for its commitment to excellence and inclusivity, the school district prides itself on offering students and community members enriching experiences both inside and outside the classroom. The district emphasizes creating safe, supportive environments where students can grow, learn, and interact with peers and supporters in a positive atmosphere.

One of the highlights of Sand Springs Public Schools' extracurricular offerings is its athletic program, which is supported not only by the athletes and coaches but also by staff members who play crucial roles behind the scenes. Among these vital roles is the Football Suite Hospitality Host, a part-time, seasonal, and event-based position designed specifically for the 2026-2027 school year. Reporting directly to the Athletic Director, Event Coordinator, and Hospitality Supervisor, this position carries the unique responsibility of overseeing the luxury suite hospitality experience during home football games.

The Football Suite Hospitality Host acts as the primary contact and dedicated service provider, ensuring an elite customer service experience for suite guests, which often include school dignitaries, premium boosters, corporate sponsors, and VIP guests. This role is a seamless integration of catering logistics and hospitality, guaranteeing that all aspects of the suite – from food and beverage service to guest relations and facility troubleshooting – are managed with professionalism and care.

Compensation for this role is offered on an hourly basis or as a per-game stipend, reflecting the part-time and event-driven nature of the work. The host is expected to excel in multitasking and problem-solving, providing enthusiastic and polished service while managing the operational needs of the suite. This includes coordinating with catering teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders, restocking supplies throughout the event, and maintaining the suite's cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities extend to engaging with guests warmly upon arrival, guiding them through suite amenities, and responding promptly to any facility or technical questions that arise during the game. In this role, the Hospitality Host functions as a concierge, catering liaison, supply manager, and troubleshooter, all rolled into one. The job requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 lbs, and adapting to working conditions that range from indoor climate-controlled luxury suites to possibly open-air environments exposed to the elements.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, organizational prowess, and the ability to think quickly under pressure. A professional appearance adhering to the athletic department’s dress code adds to the polished image essential for this position. Availability for weekend and evening schedules correlating with football games, along with passing a standard school district background check, are mandatory requirements.

Overall, the Football Suite Hospitality Host position provides a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant school community, contributing to memorable game day experiences while sharpening valuable skills in hospitality and event management within an educational context.
