Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and use of hands
- Varying kitchen environments with moderate noise levels
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional extended weeks
- Must be able to drive between school sites and attend company meetings as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different locations daily
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing needs
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and varying environments
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening and MVR
- Enjoys working around children and being part of a school community
- Respectful, inclusive, and able to work with diverse teams
Job Duties
- Travel between school sites as scheduled to assist with daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standards
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe
- Restock serving areas such as food lines, salad bars, and milk boxes
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries using FIFO practices
- Serve meals to students, staff, and guests with a positive attitude
- Perform routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Follow all health and safety regulations at each site
- Step in to support kitchen teams or cover absences
- Submit reports and complete assigned tasks on time
- Take direction from Kitchen Managers and adjust quickly to new team dynamics
