Job Requirements
- Equivalent to completion of two years high school
- Ability to carry out instructions and procedures that are standardized
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Understands basic weights and measures
- Understands basic mathematical functions
- Ability to stoop and lift 30 pounds
- Ability to push and pull 300 pounds
- Employees must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Assembles, portions, labels, restocks foods for cafeteria services
- Provides appropriate and hospitable service to customers
- Maintains sanitation of cafeteria
- Performs warewashing duties
- Assists in training of other food service workers
- Prepares area for food serving setting up steam tables and service areas with hot food items, salads, desserts, fruits, breakfast foods
- Slices meats and prepares deli items such as sandwiches and mixed salads
- Takes food temperatures before and during meal service
- Stocks cold supply before, during and after each meal service
- Participates in cafeteria special events
