Beyond just retail, Walmart prioritizes a positive shopping experience powered by friendly, efficient staff and a well-organized store environment that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
The Food and Consumable Associate role at Walmart Supercenter #1764 is a part-time position focused on enhancing the customer experience through effective merchandising and customer service. This role is essential in managing incoming merchandise, ensuring products are available and attractively displayed on the sales floor. You will play a pivotal role in creating seasonal display features aimed at meeting the diverse needs and preferences of customers. This involves not only stocking shelves but also assisting customers in locating products, addressing their inquiries, and providing a supportive shopping environment.
Walmart values its employees by offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.5 to $28.5 per hour, with actual wages meeting or exceeding local minimum wage laws. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives, which reward contributions and achievements in the workplace. Premium pay may also be offered based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, providing an opportunity to increase earning potential. Available shifts for this role include mid-shift and closing, providing flexibility to suit different scheduling needs.
Employment benefits are robust and designed to support the well-being and professional growth of associates. Health coverage options include medical, vision, and dental insurance plans. Financial benefits feature 401(k) plans, stock purchase options, and company-paid life insurance, helping associates plan for a secure future. Walmart also provides paid time off (PTO) for vacation, sick leave, holidays, and other personal needs, with additional leave options such as parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Further, there are benefits like short-term and long-term disability coverage, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and reimbursement for adoption and surrogacy expenses.
An exciting aspect of working at Walmart is the Live Better U education program. This initiative covers tuition, books, and fees for a variety of educational programs from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and certificate courses. This benefit underscores Walmart's commitment to employee growth and lifelong learning.

This aligns with the company's mission to foster a respectful and effective team atmosphere, contributing positively to both employee satisfaction and customer service quality. Joining Walmart Supercenter #1764 means becoming part of a globally recognized brand that invests in its people, promotes career development, and enables employees to make a meaningful contribution to the community they serve.
