The Food Worker II position is a regular salaried role within the University of Iowa Health Care, based at the General Hospital. Under general supervision, this role is primarily responsible for the set-up and preparation of food. The Food Worker II will utilize their experience and skills in quantity food preparation and service to ensure that food is prepared safely and efficiently, adhering to established guidelines and standards. This role includes training and directional responsibilities, which means the successful candidate will also help guide and support other food workers in their duties.

Operating on a schedule of 5:00 am to 1:30 pm from Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, this position offers consistent hours, contributing to a balanced work-life routine. The pay grade for this role is 05, with a competitive hourly wage of $18.22, reflecting the specialized skills and responsibilities required.
