FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER (PART TIME)

We are currently seeking a part-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver based at Coffee Distributing Corp, located at 200 Broadway, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. This role is essential in maintaining the efficient delivery of food, beverages, coffee, and other products to our valued customer locations. The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver will operate a vehicle to pick up, load, transport, and deliver supplies while adhering to company and safety standards. This position requires early morning availability on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, offering an hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness and safety. The position emphasizes the importance of food safety practices, including proper handling of perishable goods and adherence to FIFO inventory methods. Interaction with customers and coworkers to uphold company service standards is crucial, as is providing excellent customer service and attention to detail. The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver will also support the company’s logistics by collecting empty containers and unsold merchandise and complying with sanitation requirements.
