FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER (PART TIME)

The company is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Food Transporter/Delivery Driver to join their part-time team. This role requires punctuality, responsibility, and a strong work ethic, with pay ranging from $15.00 to $19.50 per hour, accompanied by transit availability and a shift meal provided as perks.

The position involves transporting food, supplies, and related products efficiently across multiple campus units and service areas using a company vehicle. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link in ensuring that food and supplies are delivered safely, timely, and in compliance with rigorous sanitation and safety standards. This role not only supports the smooth day-to-day operations of food delivery but also significantly contributes to the overall customer experience by ensuring quality service and attention to detail.

In addition to delivery duties, the Food Transporter/Delivery Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading orders with the assistance of staging clerks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that food items are kept at appropriate temperatures to meet company standards. The position also requires routine vehicle maintenance and upkeep, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to work cooperatively with coworkers to uphold service excellence.

Applicants are required to have previous food transporting or delivery experience, a valid state driver’s license, and food handler’s permit where applicable. Working in an educational environment, the role acknowledges possible seasonal downtime during school breaks which may lead to temporary unpaid periods; however, there may be opportunities to work year-round or at different locations depending on business needs.
