FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER (FULL TIME)

The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver position at Chartwells K12 is a full-time role based in Ann Arbor Public Schools, Ann Arbor, MI. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food, supplies, and other products to assigned service areas within the school system. Operating from Monday through Friday, between 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, this position offers competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour and requires a valid Chauffeur's license. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire delivery process — from picking up requisitioned supplies and completed production orders to ensuring that food items are transported in accordance with strict sanitation and safety standards. They will also be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and performing routine vehicle maintenance.

In addition to delivery duties, this role involves inventory management, collecting empty containers or unsold items, and working closely with team members to meet company service standards. The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver position contributes significantly to the operational success of the school meals program by ensuring that meals arrive on time and meet quality expectations, which directly impacts student satisfaction and well-being.
