This full-time Food Transporter\/Delivery Driver role is based in Seattle, Washington at the Expedia location (1111 Expedia Group Way). The position features a schedule of Monday through Friday with early morning shift start times, providing a consistent work week. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, reflecting the company's competitive wages. The role requires two to three years of professional driving experience to ensure safe and efficient delivery operations. In this position, the driver will be responsible for delivering food, supplies, and other products to various units and service areas using a company vehicle. Duties include picking up requisitioned supplies and completed orders, loading and unloading materials safely, inventory verification, and following strict sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment. This ensures that all hot and cold food items comply with company standards and meet required food safety regulations.

The Food Transporter\/Delivery Driver also maintains the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle to promote operational safety and reliability. The role demands strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively with coworkers to ensure the company's service standards are upheld. Job Requirements

  • Two to three years of professional driving experience

Job Duties

  • Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
  • Receives completed production orders from staging clerk
  • Inventories items to ensure completion of production orders
  • Loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner
  • Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site
  • Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
  • Ensures hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements
  • Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
  • Responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
  • Performs routine maintenance on truck
  • Interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards
  • Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail
  • Performs other duties as assigned
