Currently, Eurest is seeking full-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver positions at the Lockheed Martin location in Fort Worth, Texas. These roles are essential within the company’s operational framework, focusing on delivering food, supplies, and other products efficiently and safely to various service units. The positions operate on a Monday through Friday schedule with variable hours, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment. Compensation for the role ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, and employees become eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment. Additionally, an internal employee referral bonus program is available, incentivizing current employees to recommend qualified candidates.
The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver role involves responsibilities critical to maintaining smooth and timely foodservice operations. Candidates will be responsible for transporting requisitioned supplies and production orders securely and in compliance with sanitation and safety standards. This includes picking up supplies from staging clerks, inventorying items to ensure order accuracy, and loading and unloading materials safely. The position also requires maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure reliability and safety.
Beyond the physical demands of the role, the position emphasizes quality customer service, requiring drivers to interact professionally with co-workers and service unit personnel, ensuring that company service standards are upheld. Handling food items with care to meet all sanitation and company standards is critical, as is collecting empty containers and managing unsold merchandise responsibly.
This role is ideal for individuals with some warehouse, pallet, or stocking experience who are looking for a full-time opportunity in a stable and growing company. Applicants must possess a valid state driver’s license and, where applicable, a valid food handler’s permit, highlighting the importance of safety and compliance in this role. Eurest’s inclusive culture values diversity of thought and inclusion, aiming to create an environment where all employees can thrive and contribute to the company’s ongoing success and leadership in the foodservice industry.
