Job Description

Taco Bell is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain that prides itself on serving craveable, affordable Mexican-inspired food that appeals to a wide range of customers. Founded in 1962 by Glen Bell in Downey, California, Taco Bell has grown into a culture-centric, lifestyle brand known for bold flavors and innovative menu offerings. The company is committed to quality ingredients and is notably the first quick-service restaurant to offer American Vegetarian Association (AVA)-certified menu items, catering to various dietary preferences. Taco Bell's dedication extends beyond food, offering educational opportunities through initiatives like the Taco Bell Foundation and supporting team members and fans with programs such as the Live Más Scholarship. As a franchise-driven brand, individual franchisees operate their locations independently, providing localized management, wage, and benefit programs that may vary between franchisees.

The Taco Bell Team Member role is an essential position within the fast-paced restaurant environment. As the first and last face that customers see when entering and exiting the establishment, Team Members play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience that encourages guests to return. This position focuses on providing friendly, accurate service both to customers and teammates. Responsibilities include greeting customers with a welcoming attitude, preparing food and beverage orders according to established standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the work environment, and assisting customers with menu inquiries. Team Members also contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere by working well with colleagues and accepting feedback and coaching from the management team.

This role requires individuals who are results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess all necessary documents and permits as required by state and federal law. The franchisee operates independently from Taco Bell Corporation, meaning prospective Team Members are employed by the franchisee, not Taco Bell Corp., and wage and benefits are set by the franchisee. Benefits may include insurance plans, sick leave, performance bonuses, and vacation pay, among others. Overall, the Taco Bell Team Member position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth, skill development, and involvement in a brand that values creativity, community, and bold innovation.
