The Food Supervisor position at Sodexo located at Centenary College of Louisiana is a full-time role with a pay range of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. The Food Supervisor acts as a pivotal figure in overseeing food operations that include fast casual dining, coffee or counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, and casual dining settings. As a Food Supervisor, you will assist management by coordinating daily work activities of the service employees and ensuring that food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
  • Strong leadership and multitasking skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to foster a safe and healthy work environment
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
