Located at Berea College, Sodexo is currently seeking a full-time Food Supervisor to join their team. This role offers a competitive pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour and requires a flexible schedule with varying shifts, ideally favoring candidates with open availability. The Food Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities within various dining environments such as fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes. This position reports to management and is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of service employees, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.

The Food Supervisor acts as a key support to management by overseeing front-line staff, facilitating training and orientation for new employees, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
