As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you will play a critical role in overseeing the smooth operation of various food service venues, including fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes. The role demands strong multitasking abilities and leadership skills to support daily operations while ensuring quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. This position requires keen attention to safety practices, employee training, and collaborative efforts with management to provide a positive, safe working environment. You will guide and coordinate service employees, helping to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold high standards in food preparation and service. Your responsibilities will include supporting management with the oversight of key functions, facilitating employee orientation and training, addressing customer service issues, and representing Sodexo’s quality commitments during your shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying afternoon and evening shifts including some weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned that may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
