The Food Supervisor position at Sodexo, located at Mt. San Antonio College, offers a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive pay range of $22 to $26 per hour. This role is crucial in delivering excellent food service experiences across various settings such as fast casual dining, coffee/counter services, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes. As a Food Supervisor, you will act as a master multitasker, coordinating and overseeing routine operations and supporting team members under the guidance of management. Your responsibilities will include supervising service employees engaged in food operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and customer satisfaction.

The position requires flexibility in shifts with open availability, enabling coverage during any scheduled shift. Emphasizing teamwork and adaptability, the Food Supervisor works closely with management to facilitate smooth daily operations while fostering a healthy and safe workplace environment. Training and orienting new employees will be part of your key duties, assuring new hires understand the company’s standards and expectations. Customer service is paramount; you will engage directly with customers to resolve issues, ensuring consistent quality and satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
