Located within SSM Health St Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, the Food Supervisor position is a pivotal role within Sodexo’s food service operations. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and requires varying shifts with an emphasis on open availability to meet the dynamic needs of hospital food services. As a Food Supervisor, you will act as a key player in ensuring seamless food operations across diverse dining environments such as fast casual outlets, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes.

This role encompasses leadership, quality control, and customer satisfaction responsibilities, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, varied settings. The Food Supervisor coordinates the routine activities of service employees by providing day-to-day oversight on behalf of management. This includes supporting management in daily supervision, facilitating the training and orientation of employees to promote compliance with safety standards and operational excellence, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.

Customer experience is paramount to this role, where the Food Supervisor acts as a frontline problem solver by working closely with customers to address quality and service concerns.
