The Food Supervisor role embodies the essence of leadership, multitasking, and customer service excellence within Sodexo's food operations team. As a Food Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting management by overseeing the day-to-day activities of food service employees, ensuring that service delivery meets the highest standards. You will be responsible for coordinating operations across multiple food service venues including fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $17.50 to $20.00 per hour, providing an encouraging platform for career growth and professional development.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food service or related field
  • Ability to work varying morning, afternoon, evening shifts, including rotating weekends
  • Strong leadership and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of related work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Team-oriented and adaptable

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
