This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $22 and involves afternoon and evening shifts that vary throughout the week. As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you will play an essential role in overseeing daily food service operations within a university setting, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The position demands a proactive leader who can efficiently manage multiple tasks while fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will coordinate service employees engaged in various dining formats including fast casual, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, casual dining, and cafes. Your responsibilities will include supporting management in daily oversight, maintaining safety protocols, training new staff, and resolving customer concerns effectively. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse clientele and operational demands.

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
