The Food Supervisor role at Sodexo, based at Rollins College, is a full-time position offering an hourly pay range between $21 and $23. This position requires flexibility with varying shifts and a preference for candidates who can maintain open availability. The Food Supervisor acts as a key on-site leader, supporting management by overseeing daily food service operations. This includes fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, catered events, banquets, casual dining venues, and cafes. The Supervisor ensures that food service teams deliver top-notch quality and service while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

As a Food Supervisor, you will be expected to coordinate the work schedules and activities of the food service employees, ensuring smooth operations throughout your shift. You are a master multitasker who improves the quality of life for others through your attention to detail and leadership skills. Your role encompasses encouraging a safe and healthy work environment, facilitating employee orientation and training, resolving customer concerns with professionalism, and supporting a variety of service channels within the food operations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one or more years of related work experience
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
