The Oklahoma County Senior Nutrition Program, in partnership with Sodexo, is currently seeking a Food Supervisor for a part-time position with a pay range of $9 to $11 per hour. The role offers varied shifts, with open availability preferred, helping maintain a flexible yet supportive work environment.

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing food service operations at the site level. This position requires excellent multitasking skills and a dedication to improving the quality of life of service users. Your main responsibility will be to provide support to management by supervising service employees working in various food operations such as fast casual dining, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, casual dining, and cafes. You will ensure that daily food service activities run smoothly and that staff perform their duties reliably and safely. This includes fostering a safe workplace environment for all employees and maintaining high customer satisfaction through quality service and effective problem resolution. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in training and orienting new employees to uphold Sodexo’s standards and values on-site. The role demands reliability, adaptability, and teamwork as well as a genuine commitment to nurturing a positive and safe working environment. Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees
  • assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned, which may vary depending on business necessities and client requirements
