Job Description

SodexoMagic is currently seeking a Food Supervisor to join their team at the MERCK location in West Point. This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts include weekdays with morning, afternoon, and evening options. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in multitasking and possess a passion for enhancing the quality of life through superior food service operations.

In the role of Food Supervisor, you will provide crucial oversight and coordination of daily food operations under the guidance of management. This includes managing employees across a variety of food service environments such as fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining settings, and cafes. Your leadership will ensure that service employees perform their duties efficiently and that operations run smoothly to meet both customer and company standards.

Key responsibilities include supporting management in overseeing daily operations and employee activities, maintaining a safe working environment, and facilitating the orientation and training of new team members. An essential part of the role involves working closely with customers to guarantee their satisfaction through quality service and effective problem resolution. Punctuality and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts are important expectations to maintain the continuity of service.

The ideal candidate brings at least one year of related work experience, with a preference for those who have prior supervisory experience. Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business

  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
