Working closely under management’s direction, the Food Supervisor plays an essential role in coordinating routine work activities, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards for safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include supporting management in the daily oversight of food service functions and personnel, facilitating orientation and training of new employees, and upholding a safe working environment for all team members. The position also involves direct interaction with customers to ensure superior quality, timely service, and effective resolution of any issues that may arise. The Food Supervisor is expected to model reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality and to be adaptable to a range of duties that may vary depending on the specific client location or business needs.

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
