The Food Supervisor role at SodexoMagic, located within the Atrium Health Behavioral Health in Charlotte, offers a full-time rotational shift position with a competitive pay range of $23.00 to $24.00 per hour. This position demands a highly organized, multitasking individual who is passionate about enhancing quality of life through food service operations. The Food Supervisor acts as the frontline operational overseer under management direction, coordinating work activities of food service employees across various dining environments such as fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes.

In this supervisory position, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting management in daily oversight duties and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This includes facilitating orientation and ongoing training, resolving customer concerns to ensure satisfaction, and upholding standards of quality and service. The role places a high value on reliability and punctuality, requiring supervisors to attend and perform their scheduled shifts with commendable regularity.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Open availability with ability to work rotating shifts
  • Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
