The Food Supervisor role at Sodexo, located at the Our Lady of the Lake site, is a critical position within the food services team offering full-time employment at $17.50 per hour. This role requires a versatile individual who excels at multitasking and leadership, overseeing multiple facets of food service operations including fast casual dining, coffee and counter services, cafeterias, event catering, banquets, casual dining, and cafes. The Food Supervisor supports management by coordinating the daily activities of service employees to ensure high standards in quality, service, and safety. Key responsibilities include providing staff oversight, facilitating employee orientation and training, maintaining a safe work environment, and directly engaging with customers to resolve issues and ensure their satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
