The role of Food Supervisor at Sodexo, located at the JUVE Family Behavioral Health Pavilion, is a vital position that combines leadership, coordination, and hands-on involvement in food service operations. This full-time role pays $17.25 per hour and involves varying shifts with preference for open availability. As a Food Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily routines and operations across multiple food service venues such as fast casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, and cafes. This includes supporting management by supervising service employees and ensuring that food operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for coordinating workloads, facilitating employee orientation and training, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience through quality service and problem resolution. The Food Supervisor serves as a critical liaison between management and frontline employees, helping to cultivate a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment. This position demands strong multitasking abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing the dynamic challenges that arise in food service settings.

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to business necessities and client requirements
