This full-time Food Supervisor position is located at the University of Tampa and offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $24.50 per hour. Candidates are expected to have open availability with varying shifts and days, with more specifics provided during the interview process. As a Food Supervisor, you will oversee daily food operations across various dining services including fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, banquets, casual dining, and cafes. The role demands a proactive leader who excels in multitasking and quality assurance, ensuring excellent customer service, employee training, and a safe working environment.

You will support management by coordinating routine work activities, guiding service employees, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned which can differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
