Job Description

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that serves a vast 22-county region across North Florida and South Georgia. TMH operates a 772-bed acute care hospital, positioning itself as the leading healthcare provider in the region. The role available within TMH is centered around supporting the hospital's dietary functions. This position is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of the daily meal services provided to patients and staff. The role involves delivering food carts and outpatient trays throughout the hospital, managing unit floor supplies, removing boxes and trash, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning pots and pans, and performing various sanitation duties to uphold the standards of cleanliness and safety in the dietary service areas.

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities but requires a commitment to maintaining high standards in food service and general sanitation. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of food service experience, preferably within a healthcare environment, to understand the specific needs and regulations of hospital food service operations.
