Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Cleveland County Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of hire and maintained every other year
- Hepatitis A vaccine required if hired or annual testing
- ServSafe Certification
- 6 months of restaurant kitchen or cooking experience
- willingness to work varied shifts including during university closures
- ability to wear and maintain uniform
- pass a background check

- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation

Job Duties
- Prepare food following recipes and apply portion control standards
- measure, weigh, and combine ingredients for quantity preparation
- utilize kitchen utensils and heavy/industrial equipment for food preparation
- serve food courteously with proper portion control and menu knowledge
- load, carry, and transport hot or cold food items or containers safely and timely
- wash, sanitize, and store kitchen utensils and equipment
- clean tables, counters, floors and follow kitchen sanitation standards
- assist with special events and catering
- support other food services staff when necessary
