Established in 1958 by Jim A. Haslam II and now under the leadership of CEO Adam Wright, Pilot Company has grown substantially while maintaining its founding values and a people-first culture. The company is deeply committed to giving back to the communities it serves and promoting diversity and inclusion. With a robust energy and logistics division, Pilot Company is one of the top suppliers of fuel in the region, managing one of the largest tanker fleets and supporting crucial oil operations in some of the busiest basins in the country. The company’s expertise spans a growing portfolio of sectors, including supply chain management, retail operations, logistics and transportation, technology and digital innovation, construction, maintenance, human resources, finance, and sales and marketing.
The role of Shift Leader at Pilot Company is a supervisory position focused on managing employees and overseeing the general operations of the restaurant sections of their travel centers. This role requires candidates who have excellent customer service skills to effectively meet the needs of customers and maintain a customer-focused culture. Shift Leaders collaborate closely with managers to ensure that the facilities remain well-maintained and operate smoothly. Candidates should be self-motivated and ready to assist with various tasks to uphold the company’s commitment to quality and operational excellence. Starting pay for this position ranges between $16.50 and $24.87 per hour. The Shift Leader is expected to be knowledgeable about store operations and uphold the values that Pilot Company embodies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, community-oriented company that values teamwork, diversity, and employee development. Candidates from all backgrounds, including military veterans, are encouraged to apply. Pilot Company provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all.
