Job Description

With a team exceeding 30,000 members, Pilot Company has established itself as a top supplier in the energy and logistics sector, featuring one of the largest tanker fleets in the industry and offering essential services to oil operations across some of the busiest basins in North America. Since its founding in 1958 by Jim A. Haslam II, Pilot Company has grown under the leadership of CEO Adam Wright, maintaining a strong commitment to its founding values centered on a people-first culture and dedication to community support. The company's diverse portfolio encompasses expertise in a wide range of fields including supply chain management, retail operations, logistics and transportation, construction, maintenance, technology and digital innovation, human resources, finance, sales, and marketing.

The role of Shift Leader is integral to the operational success of Pilot Company's restaurant division. Tasked with supervising employees and overseeing the general operations of the restaurant, the Shift Leader ensures that customers receive exceptional service in alignment with the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This is a key leadership opportunity for individuals looking to develop their management skills in a dynamic, customer-centered setting.

The employment type for this position is hourly, with pay rates starting between $17.20 and $25.55 per hour, reflecting the value Pilot Company places on experienced and dedicated team members. As a Shift Leader, candidates will be required to work flexible schedules that include nights, days, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of restaurant operations. The role demands proficiency with basic technological tools such as calculators and computers, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups from hourly team members and customers to vendors and corporate representatives. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a team environment and possess strong customer service skills, ready to support both customers and colleagues while helping to maintain a positive and efficient workplace culture. Pilot Company fosters diversity and inclusion and invites applicants from all backgrounds, including military service members, to apply.
