This role is classified under Support Staff and functions as a Lunchroom Supervisor, playing a critical role in the school’s food service operations. The Food Services Lead will oversee the district’s participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) along with other child nutrition initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local nutritional standards. This leadership position combines administrative oversight with hands-on coordination of daily kitchen activities and staff supervision.

The Food Services Lead is responsible for maintaining all necessary compliance documentation, collaborating closely with the district Superintendent, building administrators, and the business office to guarantee a smoothly operating, efficient, and student-centered food service program. This role is integral in supporting the health and nutrition of students, promoting healthy eating habits, and contributing to their academic success and overall well-being by ensuring access to nutritious meals.

Working approximately 176 student attendance days plus an additional 10 summer days, this position requires a commitment of 5.5 hours daily, typically from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. The annual salary is $32,000, and the role includes paid sick and personal leave, reflecting the district’s investment in employee welfare.
