Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- acquisition of Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire
- minimum six months cashier experience
- minimum six months related food service experience
- minimum six months customer service experience
- ability to speak, understand, read and write English
- ability to work open to close shifts
- physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, lift up to 35 pounds frequently
- ability to work in an indoor cafeteria environment
Job Qualifications

- six months cashier experience
- six months of related food service experience
- six months of customer service experience
- contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English
- preferred one year of customer service experience
- preferred one year of food prep or related experience
Job Duties
- Properly inputs sales into the POS systems
- continuously checks work areas to ensure all product levels are maintained and refreshed
- continuously cleans and wipes work areas including removing garbage, cleaning dishes, coffee machines, countertops
- reports to the supervisor any problems with the quality or quantity of food being served
- assists customers with general information, inquiries, food and beverage order selection and recommendations
- counts cash drawers to prepare deposit
- prepares food and cooks entrees
- assists with various periodically scheduled large cleaning projects
- performs other duties pertinent to the department or unit's success
