Job Requirements
- 1+ years of food service experience required
- Healthcare-based experience preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- Ability to handle physical requirements of the job
- Commitment to maintaining sanitation and safety standards
- Flexible availability for full-time or part-time work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year food service experience required
- Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings preferred
- Ability to work full or part time including rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Prepares fruit and vegetable ingredients such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients accurately
- Transports pans, kettles and trays of food safely between workstations, stove and refrigerator
- Stores food in designated areas following proper wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils thoroughly
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Serves customers politely and efficiently following company service steps
- Resolves customer concerns and communicates with supervisors
- Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory control procedures
- Adheres to all sanitation and safety requirements
- Performs additional duties as assigned
